We're a privately family owned company founded in 1979 in Southern California and are the secret weapon for some of the most discerning clients in The Hamptons, Manhattan, Palm Springs, Palm Beach, Miami, Aspen, Vail, and Seattle. We go anywhere!

Neilan Tyree

Neilan first worked with David in the LA area in 1991 as Guard was enjoying explosive growth servicing Kreiss Collections’ distinguished clientele for their unmatched home furnishings.
Since then, he primarily made his name as one of the most successful business development leaders in advertising, working for almost 40 years to attract over $7 billion in billings for the best agencies in the country (world) from some of the most notable brands and companies in the world.
For many years he has led D+J's marketing initiatives including website, marketing, Airbnb management (of incredible luxury properties), etc.
Neilan is thrilled to be taking a more active role once again with Guard and is just launching initial efforts in North Alabama (from The Shoals to fast-growing Madison, Birmingham etc.) with a particular focus on hotels, theaters, restaurants, and other commercial entities. Though he is also launching a residential offering because of his confidence in the product (both protection and flameproofing) that he first started working with over 30 years ago in LA.
